Dandy’s Supports Dynamo Camp
Dandy’s Eyewear makes annual donations to the Dynamo Camp project, which offers Recreational Therapy programmes to children and young people with serious or chronic conditions. The brand intends to invest in a number of social projects in which it believes.
Dynamo Camp is part of the international association SeriousFun Children’s Network, a charity created by Paul Newman that runs holiday camps founded on the principles of inclusion and the development of the children’s potential, serving children with serious illnesses and their families.
In particular, Dynamo Camp offers free programs to children and families at the structure of Limestre, in the province of Pistoia, conceived and built ad hoc and surrounded by wonderful nature, and in numerous cities throughout Italy, through the Dynamo City Camps and at hospitals and associations.
2022 will be a year of expansion for the Dandy’s brand, which, as well as supporting this Dynamo Camp charity project, shall also expand its collection.
As well as Dandy’s Sun, the Limited editions and Dandy’s Core, the brand shall also introduce its quality collection – called “Premium” – and Dandy’s Minimal, a range designed for everyday social wear. Glossy eyewear showcasing a simplified shape and essential packaging are at the forefront of the project.
The materials used and production are taken care of by Faoflex, which guarantees craftsmanship quality. The shape of the glasses and the packaging will be simplified. The Dandy’s brand will donate an annual sum already set with Dynamo Camp to support their Recreational Therapy activities that serve children and young people with serious illnesses. This sum shall not be linked to sales, but to a wider customer awareness project. Dandy’s will select a different charity to support every two years: for 2022 and 2023 it has chosen the Dynamo Foundation, with the aim of bringing a little serenity and lightheartedness to many children and their families.
The expansion of the Dandy’s Eyewear brand goes hand in hand with its growing sense of social responsibility, so that values such as work, the desire for beauty and sustainability are pursued alongside ideas and awareness campaigns on important issues.
